Accumulated Damage on Bosses
Details of the damage accumulation system in Bosses.
The accumulated damage in Bosses is a system that determines which character receives the reward for an item when a Boss monster is defeated.
This guide is intended to provide an overview of the accumulation system, particularly in situations where Bosses generate PvP environments. In Mu Occidental, the player who deals and accumulates the highest amount of damage to a Boss while it is alive will be eligible for the reward. It's important to note that there are circumstances where the accumulated damage can be lost, leading to a change in the reward distribution during PvP.
We have recently implemented an update to this system, which applies specifically to the invasion server (Server 6).
Here's how the accumulated damage system works for Bosses now:
Damage accumulation is individual and does not apply to party members.
If you do not deal damage to the Boss for 5 seconds, your accumulated damage will be reset.
If your character dies, your accumulated damage will be reset.
If your character is 20 coordinates away from the Boss, your accumulated damage will be reset.
In the event that the player with the highest accumulated damage is defeated, the player with the second-highest accumulated damage will then be eligible for the reward.
It's important to keep this information in mind and strategize accordingly. Please note that this system may be subject to future changes, so it's advisable to stay updated through the Changelog channel on our official Discord.
